On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 5+ years on the tools preferred.
