The role involves bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
