Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Lincoln County, Nebraska. The job is at a road-building project. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
