Rebar fixer wanted in Sabon Birni

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Part-time with flexible hours.
