We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Hancock County, Iowa. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Full-time, day shift.
