Gtaw welder — Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Douglas County, Colorado. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
