Tailor machinist — Cochran County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Cochran County, Texas. The role involves: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
