Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in City of Suffolk, Virginia. On a typical shift you will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Full-time, day shift.
