Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Obi Nwga, Abia State. The job is on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
