Urgent requirement: gas metal arc welder (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in City and Borough of Salford, England. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. £85 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
