Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Conwy, Wales. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £2,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
