Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Shoshone County, Idaho. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
