Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish The role involves: • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
