Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazier in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will work at a double glazing firm. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film Rotating shifts.
