We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Buckinghamshire, England. The job is in a busy paint shop. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg The role involves: • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
