GMAW welder — Aberdeenshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
