Now hiring: we are hiring a tile fixer in Dutchess County, New York. You will work on a new-build housing development. The role involves set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
