Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Fannin County, Georgia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits On a typical shift you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
