Meat cutter • Crawford County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Crawford County, Michigan. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
