Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Comal County, Texas. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
