Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Calvert County, Maryland. You will be based at a busy building site. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Day to day you will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
