Bricklayer • Bwari, Federal Capital Territory

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory. You will be based on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦6,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
