Horticulturist — Fairfield County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Fairfield County, South Carolina. You will work at a landscaping company. On a typical shift you will cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
