Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Morgan County, Utah. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
