Join our team: we are hiring a marble cutter in Boone County, Illinois. You will work on a hotel and villa renovation project. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone The role involves seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels.
