Tig welder wanted in Nantucket County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
