Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Charles City County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience 5+ years on the tools preferred.
