Window glazier wanted in Orleans County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a window glazier in Orleans County, Vermont. Day to day you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
