Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Martin County, North Carolina. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
