Bar bender and fixer wanted in Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Jackson County, Indiana. Day to day you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
