Roofing labourer • Ogbia, Bayelsa State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Ogbia, Bayelsa State. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. You will lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs. You should have: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
