Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Morgan County, Utah. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
