Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Owan East, Edo. The job is in a busy laundry. On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep ₦1,800 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
