Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Tulare County, California. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
