Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
