Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Clinton County, New York. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
