Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Marengo County, Alabama. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
