Vacancy available: shuttering fixer (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Hampshire, England. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Day to day you will fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. £90 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
