Fire and safety officer • Calderdale, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Calderdale, England. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
