We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrostatic spray painter in Dutchess County, New York. You will be based at a powder coating unit. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg The role involves: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
