Now hiring: safety inspector (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Pamlico County, North Carolina. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 5+ years on the tools preferred.
