Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Your main tasks: • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily 2+ years on the tools preferred.
