Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish 2+ years on the tools preferred.
