Immediate opening: reinforcement steel fixer (West Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Monongalia County, West Virginia. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
