Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
