We are recruiting: uPVC window fabricator (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Monroe County, Florida. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. You will fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
