Render and set plasterer • Alleghany County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Alleghany County, North Carolina. You will work in an occupied house during renovation. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets On the job you will handle: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
