Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish.
