Loader/unloader • Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a loader/unloader in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a builders' merchant yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders • Load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck • Report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor • Keep aisles, racking and the yard clean and free of obstructions • Segregate returns and process them back into stock Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Previous warehouse or stores experience • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking 4+ years on the tools preferred.
