Hand presser wanted in San Miguel County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in San Miguel County, New Mexico. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Part-time with flexible hours.
